PATIENT INFORMATION: Before Your Procedure

• Once your physician has scheduled your appointment with us, we will call you to discuss your arrangements.
• If pre-op testing is required, it will be arranged by your physician’s office.
• In preparation for your procedure, please follow your physician’s specific instructions regarding eating, drinking and your medications.
• Plan to arrive one hour before your procedure is scheduled to begin.
• Make arrangements for your transportation to and from your appointment with us. For safety reasons you will not be permitted to travel home alone, even with taxi service. 
• Do not eat or drink anything, including water after midnight. If possible, refrain from smoking the evening before or morning of your procedure.
• Please notify your physician if there are any changes in your physical condition such as a cold, cough, fever, rash or any change in the condition for which you are having your procedure done.
