ABOUT US: Physician Relations Specialist

The Physician Relations Specialist (PRS) is the surgery center’s liaison. This unique position provides a personal representation of Linden Crest Surgery Center to physicians and the community and continually recruits new surgeons to the center. The PRS provides the essential link between physicians and their offices, the community and the facility.

The PRS is on board with the center from the very beginning of a center’s development, recruiting surgeons to the partnership as well as assisting in the ongoing growth after the center opens. New development is possible through active involvement with the physicians in the center’s service area, facilitating the credentialing of new surgeons to the active medical staff and helping to satisfy their equipment and instrument preferences. 

The Physician Relations Specialist provides the means to continually keep the lines of communication open. They are on the front lines to help address concerns and needs of physicians and to support key members of the surgeons’ scheduling and nursing staff. The PRS strives to continually improve operations and efficiency in delivering premier surgical care to each patient.
